2010, off to a nice start.
Well 2009 was a very slow year for COL and not the best year generally in many ways (not that I have anything to complain about!) For much of the year I found myself in one state and all of my hoops and hoop making supplies in another. Things started to come together towards the end of the year though and therefore 2010 has gotten off to a good start. Today I donated 30 hoops to a local youth group on the Gold Coast, and Im sure they will make good use of them. I have another 30 hoops ready to be donated to a youth centre somewhere in Sydney next week, plus a few other random hoops going out to friends and friends of friends which will bring the total up to 70. I dont know why, but I dont like giving out odd numbers of hoops, it has to be a multipul of 5 or 10 lol.
I then plan on making a few dozen more hoops and sending them out far and wide. I am not sure where yet exactly, so please leave a comment if you have any ideas (-: I would love to send hoops to outback communities especially!
Im kind of hoping the World Hoop Day project will catch on a little more in Australia this year too. Its such an easy thing to do!!!
I hope you all had happy holidays and that 2010 is a fabulous year for everyone!!!
